Celebrities like Beyoncé continue to dazzle in this what we would say a summer trend. But seriously who sticks with rules anymore when it comes to fashion. Showing off her slim curvy figure, Queen B steps out in this floral off the shoulder ensemble by Johanna Ortiz. As we embark the official start of fall and temperatures are dropping, don't fret! I've got you covered. You can still wear this popular seasonal trend with thicker fabrics and tweeds that will keep you warm and stylist for fall.
Overalls?! Yes I know. If it wasn't for Zara designing this super cute embroidered 90s one-piece, I would not be rocking this look. But this updated + sexy spin on a childhood favorite is worth the try!
I love how there is a as much of an open back as you can get with overalls. I also really enjoy how they actually fit like short shorts. This look can double as a beach cover up with your favorite bikini (and even a one piece swimsuit). I paired it with a crop top with similar flower detailing to the shorts to enhance the look. I finished off the look with my oh-so comfy white crochet converse and gold bracelets.
While this isn't a look that you will catch me in often, it is a great go-to outfit to beat the summer heat and show off some major leg. ♥♥
Easily make faux leather your best friend this summer with a cropped jacket style from Zara. The Spanish-based designer loves a good faux leather piece and is making the style year-long friendly with a blush toned, 3/4 sleeved moto jacket. The jacket pairs nicely with everything from jeans to your favorite body-skimming dress.
I fully embraced the look with a figure-hugging mini and studded nude heels for a day-to-tonight outfit. A simple cutout and envelope hemline add to the allure of this Elizabeth and James dress.
The difficulty of rocking this look well into the night is staying pristine. With light-toned faux leather it's easy to have color transfer to the material and ruin your clothes. To avoid a mishap, be sure not to wear it with anything that bleeds color. But if it does happen, try removing the color stain with vinegar before it sets in. ♥
This type of blazer never goes out of style. This is what I like to call a staple piece every woman of style should have tucked in their closet. A lot of women in Hollywood have graced the red carpet with this blazer paired with a pair of slacks making masculine blazer look noting but chic, which I totally love. It gives a splash of sophistication to any outfit. Paired with black leggings from Zara and Aquazzara heels, this is also office style approved.
White is my absolute favorite color! I feel it has such a nice, fresh and polished look when worn. Here I wore a BCBG dress and a Reiss motor jacket for a fun in the sun type of day. I also paired it with a pair of Givenchy heels with lace to complete my look.
As temperatures warm up, it's time to start thinking about what to wear during those warm summer nights.
For all those summer night bon fires you're going to want to wear something that is breathable but maybe a little more covered up than what you would wear during the day. That's what makes this Free People dress the perfect choice!
The crochet detailing along the waist and neckline make a long-sleeved dress like this one more desirable. The soft texture of the fabric also adds to its wearability.
This dress is also a great length, hitting right above the knee. And the cool blue color make it easy to accessorize with. From gladiator sandals to ankle boots, this dress goes with just about anything. ♥
Run DMC didn’t make a song about it for nothing. For the Beyonce concert I wanted nothing more but to wear heels and dance the night away in my seat until I thought about my feet and being more comfortable. So I decided to go for a more casual and comfy look. I channeled my inner retro style by wearing these shell toe turquoise Adidas with a military jacket, white tee, jeans and my Chanel Boy bag.
When it comes to dressing for the office, as a fashionista you're always going to walk the fine line with the dress code. It's important to always look for a way to dress modestly without stifling your creativity.
I typically run into the problem of deciding whether the length of a dress is appropriate for work or not. When in doubt, choose a mid-length style like this Boutique Moschino stripped dress. The colors are bold enough to stand out, without being distracting. It's figure flattering, not hugging your body too tight while still holding its shape nicely.
With such a long dress, you are going to want to steer away from flats and instead opt for pumps. Nothing too extravagant because you don't want to take away from the beauty of the dress but rather compliment it with a simple shoe.
When if comes to office attire, my main rule is to always opt for comfort with a little flair ♥♥
The power of Rihanna is undeniable and she has everyone going crazy over her latest installment for Puma.
The 28-year-old singer’s Puma Creepers sold out on the brand’s website less than an after they went live on May 26. This new wave of her Puma suede sneaker came in three new colors for men and women; Green-Bordeaux, Black Satin and Basket Creeper Glo.
Stars Lena Dunham, the Weeknd, and Bella and Gigi Hadid have sported previous iterations of the shoe. Rihanna pal Cara Delevingne even wore her creepers to the White House.
Rihanna has seen much success with the brand since becoming it’s creative director for its women collections in 2014. The pop singer created a consumer frenzy last fall when the thick-soled sneaker sold out online within three hours of its pre-sale launch. Her Fenty fur slides, which featured a faux-fur trim and satin-foam backing, were released in April sold out within minutes across all online retailers. Her selling abilities go beyond Puma. The fashionista debuted her limited-edition footwear collaboration with Manolo Blahnik on May 5 with much of the same reception, crashing the brands website.
While the platform sneakers are available on other sites including Bodega and YCMC, there’s been no mention as to when Puma will restock the thick-soled kicks or if there will be more Creeper releases in the future.
Show a touch of skin in this turquoise Nicole Miller romper. Wear this look with strappy sandals.
If you want to wear this jumpsuit into the evening, try layering with a light denim jacket. While this outfit is not necessarily office-approved you can wear it to a casual affair like a lunch date or retail therapy session with friends.
Have fun with accessories like bracelets, anklets and rings. Go for a bohemian vibe with colorful beaded bracelets and gold layering necklaces. ♥♥
I bought Ivy Park and this is what happened...
I loved it! Ivy Park is a great athleisure choice whether you are working out or not. It’s so comfortable and helps you feel secure about your body because it’s holding everything in in all the right places. Not only that, it’s also cute and stylish. The large branding across the top surprisingly isn’t a turn off, but actually a great conversation starter. Whenever I wear my Ivy Park I tend to run into members of the #BeyHive who are quick to dish out compliments. ♥♥
I’m all about the comfort, yet beautiful style of the Bohemian goddess. This Boho look is easy and effortless. On days when you to look fabulous but without any hassle just throw on a print maxi dress, an oversized bag and some shades. If you want, you can add accessories such as head pieces and bold statement necklaces and other accessories to give it more style. With this whimsical dress, I decided to add a little spice and wear these over the knee boots by Stuart Weitzman. Now I know what you may be thinking, how on earth can I pair fall season boots with a summer dress. Well easy…. Style has no boundaries! :-)

This dress is perfect if you're looking for a versatile outfit. Wear to work and then for a night out afterwards.
The thigh-slit is not too revealing, but adds a nice sultry touch. It's form fitting enough to hug your curves but not too tight to where you can't breathe. The color is eye-catching and has a nice romantic vibe.
I wore this dress to work and paired it with black booties, but it could look just as stunning with pumps, strappy sandals and even flats. ♥♥♥
A keyhole neckline gives this dress by Elizabeth and James a chic yet alluring feel.
Wearing a white dress is effortlessly chic yet a big risk. If you can manage to go through the entire day without getting your pristine outfit dirty, you’ve conquered a huge feat. Maintaining the look aside—wearing white is a surefire way to receive compliments all day long! It’s also a great way to stand out in a crowd, if styled correctly.
First, it’s important not to take away from the look by overwhelming it with accessories and layers, like gaudy necklaces and scarves. It’s almost just better to wear as is, with minimal accessories (if you can’t resist adorning yourself) and a great pair of shoes. Just know, your choice of shoes will make the next biggest statement of your outfit next to the dress itself.
On this particular day, I choose to pair my white dress with black strappy flats because I was dressing for work, so I needed a simple comfortable look while staying stylish. But the possibilities with a white canvas like this are endless! For shoe options, try a nude sandal heel if you want to elongate your legs. You can add a pop of color with a bright-colored pump to spice it up. You can also go for a country chic style with brown booties or cowboy boots. Whichever you choose, stay true to your style and don’t let the dress wear you.
♥♥ A hidden feature on this dress are the pockets. Always opt for a dress with pockets whenever possible because they are bound to come in handy at some point during the day. ♥♥
A floral printed maxi dress featuring a plunging V-neckline with brass colored button closures down the front. Strappy back with an adjustable fit.
This Free People bohemian dress is comfort and sex appeal all wrapped in one. The relaxed fit and texture of the dress makes it easy to wear all day long. It is designed to be worn as is, without bras or bandeaus, for a sweet sultry style. If you are like me, and not completely comfortable with letting it “all hang out”, there’s a simple solution!
I styled the dress with a blue lace strapless bra for added coverage. Adding a layer like this also makes the outfit more versatile. If you still feel like there’s too much open chest, try a layered body chain to complete the look.
The brass colored buttons, that are featured on the front, add just the right amount of functional detail; providing a subtle front slit while making it easy to walk in this full length maxi. ♥♥
Running errands with my best friend this weekend I wanted to do it of course in style. This Marissa Web jacket pairs well with any outfit. I took the chic route by adding a pair of BCBG snake print booties and a basic white tee. You can switch it up by wearing sneakers to make it more casual and comfortable. This jacket is seriously my go to.
Don’t ever let anyone tell you that you can’t mix patterns. When it comes to prints such at stripes they can go with just about anything. In fact they are pretty mixable across the board. Stripes are very neutral and pairing it together with a bolder print is what makes it work. Don’t be afraid to test this look out.
I never thought I would love a bodysuit as much as I love this one! Granted, wearing a bodysuit can make you feel like you're back in ballet class, but with a tie-up style like this one, you'll be oozing major sex appeal.
The lace detail and nude tone makes this style perfect for the summer heat. A little secret about this particular bodysuit, unlike typical styles, it buttons at the bottom making it easy to get in and out of.
Adding to its versatility, you can dress up or dress down the look. Make it casual with cut-out denim shorts with your favorite pair of summery sandals or elevate it for work with a faux leather pencil skirt and pumps. Whichever way you decide to don this Zara designed one-piece, you'll be sure to turn plenty of heads. ♥♥
